Hello Crafters! Spring forward was this past weekend and even though it's only been a couple of days I'm already loving the extra sunshine! Spring is coming and since I can hardly wait, I placate myself with pretty spring stamps.
I decided to get out my Zig Clean Color markers since it's been so long since they've seen any love, and pair them with the new Modern Petunias stamp set. They worked perfectly to get the look of a pink and white petunia! ou can see all the watercoloring in the video below.
The background came out surprisingly soft. Usually with Zigs I can only manage bold backgrounds since they are so pigmented. I guess just adding one line is all you really need.
Even though it was completely on accident I really love that bit of purple in the leaves. What do you think?
Thanks so much for visiting!

ReplyDeleteBeautiful.....vibrant and real. Kelly - I have learned a lot from your videos, mostly as you talk it seems that you are so real-admitting to mistakes we all make. Your curved brush...what number is it? I've never seen such a thin brush. Perhaps one would help me.
