I was wondering- if you had kept your stamp in the same place on the MISTI, do you think you could stamp the black outline again, after the inks have been blended to get the darker black lines again on the Oxide cards? I have never tried the Oxides but they look smooth and easy to work with however I prefer the brightness of the old Distress inks best.Teresa Doylehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07711001591787075268noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3024898436221353441.post-82557655838202005492017-08-20T21:46:16.130-04:002017-08-20T21:46:16.130-04:00Lovely cards. I've been a Distress Ink junkie for a few years and then the Oxides came on the scene last year and I'm over the moon. Love the comparison you've shared and appreciate the time you took to do it. ~HUGS~<br />#kindnessmattersMaggieB1983https://www.blogger.com/profile/04378271207866028856noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3024898436221353441.post-45471272049974234402017-08-20T20:40:32.190-04:002017-08-20T20:40:32.190-04:00BEAUTIFULLY DONE VIDEO, Kelly! I only have a few of the Original Distress Inks, but I LOVE the idea of the ease of blending of the Oxide Inks from the Original Inks. When you get older, it is harder to do all that blending. LOL Both have their plus'! ;) TLadyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03834575255625474989noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3024898436221353441.post-36158362634068006212017-08-20T20:36:25.060-04:002017-08-20T20:36:25.060-04:00Lovely cards Kelly. I really love the true clear colour of the originals and I don't particularly like the chalkiness and veiled colours of the Oxides. Having said that, I have bought a few of the colours in Oxides and have made some nice backgrounds for cards, but I could well live without them.CreativSpirithttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00681495601483898357noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3024898436221353441.post-88951577032882219732017-08-20T19:33:51.246-04:002017-08-20T19:33:51.246-04:00Beautiful cards, Kelly! Your cards show you can create gorgeous color by sponging the BG, and create wonderful contrast by leaving the image white. Loved the comparison of inks on your video too - thank you!Susihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13650084909452863158noreply@blogger.com
