Revisiting All Year Cheer with Kara

Hello dear friends! It's Kara and I'm back with another bright spring card. I know we are all excited about the new release. I know I am! In fact, if you haven't stopped by my blog, please do. I have lots of inspiration featuring all of the newly released products - here, here, and here.

But, we don't like to neglect our previously released goodies either! One of my favorite things about spring is all of the birds that visit our yard. We have many feeders and they are just a joy to watch. I love this All Year Cheer stamp set because of these adorable birds!

This versatile set includes flowers, several styles of leaves and acorns to accent your branches which makes it perfect for all seasons. I chose to use these sweet little rose-like blooms stamped in Little Piggy and Sweet Gelato dye ink.

I die cut the sky background with the 4 Bar Stitched Rectangle die and sponged on some Bo Peep dye ink. I used a scrap piece of cardstock, die cut with the hills from the Landscape Border Die, to apply my ink. I wanted to create a subtle cloud-like texture. I stamped my sentiment on a circle die cut from the Love Mom Layers die collection.

I added the little black bow from the new Sucker For You die set as my final touch!

Hey Sweetie Shaker Card w/Joni

Hello Everyone, Joni here sharing an easy fun male card using the new Sucker For You Die.

To begin, I first die-cut my card base from Kraft cardstock with a size of an A2 card. Then I die-cut a white cardstock and vellum using the stitched scallop from Sunshine Layers Die.

Next, I die-cut the fun pieces from the Sucker For You Die for the focal point of the card.

I created a standard shaker card from the base, and adhered the sucker pieces to the front of the vellum. To fill the shaker, I used the star confetti from Pretty Pink Posh, glueing a few stars directly to the vellum on the inside. This way some of the stars will stay up and the others will fall down for your shaker.

And here's another look at the finished card all assembled.

Lollies that POP w/Kara

Hello! I hope you all have been enjoying the new products released this month. These stitching dies are so fun and versatile and the new PURE COLORDye Ink colors are so vibrant!

The first project I created when I received these new goodies was this project that features mainly the Sucker For You die collection. I just love all of the options available in this set to customize these lollipops.

On a few of the dies I chose to add stitching - which is super simple and fun to do - and on the others I added color to the die cuts using some of the newly released ink colors. The bows, the sentiment, and the swirl on the lollipop were colored with V.I. Pink and Queen Bee PURE COLOR Dye Ink. I even colored the pink panel with the pink ink! I only added ink to the areas that would be peeking out from behind the main white panel so I didn't waste any ink!

I wanted them to resemble one of those edible cookie arrangements, so I placed the lollipops into a 'basket' using one of the dies from Stuck On You. Instead of adding stitching to the basket I used the holes as a guide for adding rhinestones in a zig zag pattern.

Stitched Details Dies - Sucker For You

Hey all! I've got more to share with you today featuring our newest products!

These dies are so simple, yet so cute! Again, their size lets them easily become the focal point of a card. Today I created a duo of 4 bar cards that allow these suckers to shine.

I die cut the base circle from red cardstock and then layered the swirl that I die cut from glittered cardstock on top. To create the glitter cardstock, I just smeared some Multi Matte Medium onto white cardstock, sprinkled glitter over it and then burnished it with a bone folder. Super easy! I then die cut the lollipop stick and bow and adhered them as well with Multi Matte Medium.

I die cut the sentiment twice from white cardstock and then again from the diy glittered cardstock and adhered them all one on top of the other. To pop up the sentiment, I used a little bit of Kool Tak clear foam. I want to make a whole bunch of these in rainbow colors!

I've mentioned how well all of the products in this collection work together already. But my next couple of examples really showcases it.

I decided to use the smaller heart from Plush Friends Pup to create a heart shaped sucker.

I die cut 3 of the hearts from red cardstock, stacked them and stitched them together with white DMC Floss. I added a sentiment to the center from the Sweet On You die and finished it off with a stick and a bow. Again, how cute would these be in a rainbow of colors?

And just in case you thought it couldn't get any cuter...

How adorable is that? The suckers are sized perfectly to work with the Plush Friends Pup and Panda dies! Yesterday I shared the assembled pup, but today I wanted to use the pig option. I simply adhered the the littler critters to card bases, cut off the excess at the bottom, put the sucker in their hands and added the "I'm a sucker for you" sentiment to their bellies.

No special tricks or techniques needed. These are so easy to use and come together effortlessly!
