Hey guys! Today I have a fun way to really dress up those plain chipboard boxes and gift boxes. I purchased this one at Michael's and used some of the items from Monday Mood Board #11. Chances are, if you need a gift, you'll need a card too. And why not have it match?
Here's what you'll need: raffia ribbon; ribbon roses/flowers; wired ribbon; burlap; Die cut tag (Wplus9 Timeless Tags 2); twine; wooden veneer hearts; glue gun' scissors
Instructions:- Trim a narrow and long length from your burlap (enough to tie a bow). Fray the edges by pulling out some of the fibers from the edges and then tie in a bow.
- Tie a bow from the raffia and wired ribbon. Starting with the biggest/thickest bow, add a small dab of hot glue to the center and layer the next smallest bow on top. Repeat with remaining bows and finish with the flower on top.
- Once your bow is assembled you can add a large safety pin to the back to pin it to a gift, or hot glue a clothes pin to the back.
- Glue the wooden heart to the center of the tag, thread with twine and tie around the bow.
