Our entire April Release is now available at www.wplus9.com as well as at many of your favorite retailers.
We have lots of inspiration for you featuring all of the fun new products in this release and can not wait to share it with you! You can find a recap of all of the new products at the bottom of this post.
These sets have so many possibilities, especially when you use them together - and are perfect for shaker cards. The dies are stand-alone, and not scaled to be stamp onto, but compliment the Love Showers stamp set perfectly. For this card, I used both the stamp set and die cut "love" to create my sentiment. The die cut umbrella was tipped upside down to catch all of those little falling hearts.
Speaking of those little hearts, aren't they adorable? And easy to create. I just used a sponge dauber to color 3 inch sections of white card stock using our PURE COLOR inks in Cranberry Crush, Wild Mango, Bo Peep, Beanstalk and Cockleshell. I then used the cluster of little hearts from the Love Shower Layers Die to die cut a rainbow of colored hearts.
If you love our previously released Sunshine Layers Die, then you'll love these too. They also look gorgeous together. Here, I added some of the clouds from the Sunshine Layers Die covered with a little of our new Shimmer Spray Mist. Love. Love. Love. And I will have plenty of information on these this week too. Can not get enough of these! I couldn't resist adding some splashes of shimmer to the background of my tag while I was at it.
For the background of the tag, I thought the Positive Strokes Two stamp set from Paper Smooches was a perfect fit. How about you?
After creating this card, I had quite a few left over die cuts and decided to create a cute little 4 Bar card with them.
Simple and sweet. I love the detail that the stitched edge from the Holiday Apertures Die adds to this almost one layer card.
Another one that I couldn't seem to put down is the Encouraging Words stamp set. It's perfect for masculine cards and is filled with uplifting encouraging sentiments.
Not only is it great for clean and simple cards, but the graphic feel and font of these sentiments is great for technique cards as well. I'll have several of these to show you this week along with some how-to videos.
But I decided to keep this one nice and simple. I created a little scene by stamping the sun in Falling Star, the mountains in Fairy Dust, the trees in Beanstalk, and the stream in Bo Peep. Finally I stamped the birds in Silver Lining and the sentiment in black. The sketchy look of these images adds just the right amount of interest to pull of this simple, almost serene card.
Don't forget, if you see something you like, everything is now available!
