VIDEO: Minimal Supplies with Kelly

Hello Crafters! During a recent lunch outing with a crafty friend, she mentioned that sometimes you don't need a lot of product to make a card you love.

decided to see if she was right and approached today's card trying to use the least amount of supplies.

I think she was right and isn't that fantastic news?! When ever I'm trying to do anything new I always start with something I know I already love. Rainbows? Check. Butterflies? Check. One layer? Check.

You can see how I created the card in the video below.

Watch above or watch in HD at YouTube

I love that even though the color is the same throughout the entire card panel those butterflies still "POP!". It's amazing what a couple of markers can do, isn't it?

I would love to see your take on the minimalist approach!

Thanks for visiting us today.

  1. I love this card! When I first saw the picture, I really thought that the butterflies had been cut out. There is just so much dimension to them! I also thought that the stamped word had Glossy Accents applied to it. Gorgeous card. Thank you for the video too!

  2. Beautiful card, Kelly! As Val mentioned, I thought the wings on the butterflies were layered because they look so dimensional. A must try for me. Thanks a bunch!
