Whimsical Scenes With Kara

Hello! It's Kara and I am so excited to be back sharing new release products with you. I took a little bit of a break while I was moving into a new home. There were a few delays, which meant my supplies were boxed up longer than I had hoped. But that's all over now, we are settled in and boxes are unpacked! The timing couldn't be better since this month WPlus9 releases all new Holiday Stamp Sets and Dies. I love creating for Christmas!

My project today features Santa's Reindeer, a fun, whimsical set. I just love all of the different reindeer, and of course, Santa. I thought it would be fun to show Santa diving head first down the chimney while Rudolph flies over and looks on from above.

After stamping my images and die cutting them with the companion dies I colored them with Copics.

I set my scene on panels die cut from the new 4 Bar Stitched Rectangles. I love to add a little tilt for interest and movement. On the black panel I stamped and embossed a tiny snowflake image from the same set.

The sentiment is from another new set called Be Merry. Be Merry is an awesome sentiment set that includes a few floral images as well and the companion die set is amazing. One of my favorites from this release; a must have staple!

I'm so glad you could stop by today and I hope you enjoyed today's project!

  9. I use stamps supplies for my art journaling, cards and artwork, and I also do surface design on fabrics.
I check clothing for beadwork, sometimes in some of the drawers or piles of crafting stuff at thrift stores.
