Just Because Floral Card with Joni

Hello Everyone, Joni here sharing another flower project with you. For this project I used the Southern Summer Florals 1, Southern Summer Florals 2, Basic Labels, Basic Labels Die, and the Basic Greetings Die.

To begin I first stamped all my flowers using Southern Summer Florals 1 and 2 on a white card panel.

Next, I stamped the oval from Basic Labels stamp set and die-cut using the Basic Labels Die. For the "hello" I used the Basic Greetings Die, and colored it with Copic markers E29 and E57.

Before adhering together I added a strip of stripe gold foil. Lastly, I stamped the "just because" from Basic Labels to finish off the card.

Easy Window Card with Kara

Hey Guys! It's Kara and I'm here with another project to share featuring the new Southern Summer Florals 1. I've been spending a lot of time outdoors and my hydrangea bush is full of beautiful blue blooms. I decided to bring in those blue shades with this new floral set. Lake House and Nautical Navy are my favorite combination!

I started by die cutting a piece of white cardstock with the 4 Bar Stitched Rectangle Die. In the center of that I positioned the large oval from the Basic Labels Die to create a window. I created three clusters of flowers and leaves around the oval window placing some in front and some behind the opening. The clusters include the blue flowers I stamped earlier as well a few accent flowers stamped in Hayride ink and leaves stamped in Mojito and Appletini.

I die cut a banner using the Bold Banner Die to span the width of the oval window. Since the left side of the banner would be tucked into the floral cluster, I stamped my sentiment closer to the right end of the banner. I had blue hydrangea in my wedding bouquet so obviously this has got me thinking about love! I chose the Mr.&Mrs. stamps from the Bold Banner Greetings set as my main sentiment.

I placed the die cut embellished window on top of another panel of white cardstock that had been die cut with a stitched rectangle die. Then both of those layers were adhered to a white card base. Between each layer I used dimensional adhesive. When using so much white I like to add texture and dimension for interest. As a final touch I added the die cut 'love' from Flower Doodles Die!. I love the shadows this creates.

Multi-Color Stamping with Kelly

Hello Crafters!

You know I like to color right? I want to use my markers or watercolors, or distress inks. You get the idea. This means typically I stick to those outline images that make my heart go pitter patter. However, sometimes some stamps come along and force you out of your comfort zone.

Sometimes, that's not a bad thing at all.

This month's release was full of really beautiful solid stamps that usually I wouldn't look twice at. But, flowers.

Basically, my love of flowers overrode my love of coloring and surprisingly I love the result.

I still got to use lots of gorgeous colors. I just did it a little different this time. Different is good :) You can watch the video below to see how easy it is to create these lovely gradient flowers.

I love how you can still build some depth just by adding another color. No markers required. I can see how simple it would be to create a bunch of these cards really quickly.

The thickness of the multi layer die cut really adds a bit of something so that the sentiment stands out. Plus, using the white cardstock to cut the majority of them helps it blend into my background (and saves on colored cardstock too!)
