Punny Produce: Pears

I'm so excited about our newest products and have been having so much fun with them! Remember, everything will be available for purchase starting tonight at midnight.

I still have a lot to share with you, so don't worry, there will still be plenty of inspiration coming your way. Today I have a few projects featuring Punny Produce: Pears and the Clear Cut Stackers: Pears die.

This is the first in a series of fun mini stamp sets featuring - you guessed it - produce puns. This set has outlined images in a hand drawn style along with the separate filler stamps in a painted style. It's great for making quick sets of notecards.

There is just something about clean and simple notecard sets that just get me every time. For the sentiments, you can use one of the cute puns included in the set, or pair it with any sentiments in your stash. Here, I've shown both. The "thanks" sentiment is from our upcoming Hand Lettered Thanks stamp set.

This next card features what new favorite color combo of the moment. Miami Spice, Soft Honeydew, Dove Grey and White.

I die cut the middle and smallest pears from Clear Cut Stackers: Pears and layered them on top of the Timeless Tags 2 Die. I used a stencil and sponged the chevron pattern in Miami Spice PURE COLOR Dye Ink onto the tag. I added some splashes of color to a white panel using the re-inker and added the chevron pattern using the same stencil and embossing paste.

And then I created a "spin-off" card using the same general idea. Love it when that happens. It's like a BOGO deal! LOL

This time I used the largest and medium sized pears. I die cut them from Soft Honeydew Cardstock and then sponged them lightly with Miami Spice PURE COLOR Dye Ink. To add a little something extra, I used some hearts left over from the Love Notes Die and "sprinkled them around. The Wink Of Stella pen added just the right amount of sparkle them.
