Belated Birthday Cards with Kara

I love creating and sending birthday cards. I think it makes people feel special! I know I do when someone remembers mine. I have a system that allows me to keep up with everyone's birthday and never miss one! With our recent move that system got disrupted. By the time I checked my birthday book I realized some cards were going to go out late! I needed a few cards quick, and they had to be so cute that the recipients wouldn't mind that that the wishes were belated!

This adorable set called Friends For All Seasons: Fall had the perfect images and sentiments to make my friends smile even if the cards arrive a few days late!

I kept the Copic coloring very simple, yet bright and fun. The sentiment says it all. If you know me at all you'll know that I do love cake {and cookies, and brownies, and cupcakes, and muffins, and...}!

You could stamp one of the sentiments on the outside and the other on the inside or both on the front as I've done here. I used the coordinating die set to cut out all of the images for a little dimension here and there.

I needed to get these cards in the mail, but if you have a bit more time, add some ink blending in the background or add to the scene using one of the WPlus9 Mountain or Tree border dies.
