Hello Crafters!
As grateful as I am for the mild temperatures that we've been having here in Northeast Ohio, I have to face facts. Thanksgiving is next week, which means Christmas is just around the corner! Eeep.
One of the best things about Christmas is the fun stamp sets I get to play with. I love coming up with new looks for classic images. The new 4 bar stitched rectangle dies really helped me think outside the box.
By using the dies a little differently I was able to create a fun window card that has lots of little details. I love the idea of all the pieces being separate but working together for the big picture.
You can see how I created the window along with all of the copic coloring in the video below.

I usually opt for Distress Inks to do my backgrounds. I was surprised by how easy the sky was with Copics, maybe I should venture outside of the box more often.
I didn't do it intentionally but I think it's super cool how each window looks like a continuation of the other. Talk about your happy accidents!
I'm hoping to get a lot more use out of these cuties before Christmas time is here. Thanks for visiting!
What a darling scene card. Looking forward to watching the video when I settle in to craft tomorrow. The intensity of the sky is fabulous.
