Negative Die Cutting Featuring Whimsy Alpha with Joni

Hello everyone, Joni here sharing the new Friends for all Seasons Winter stamp set and the Whimsy Alpha Die.

This is actually a very simple card to recreate. I started by distressing the white card base with Tim Holtz Distress Ink. I then die-cut another panel using the Whimsy Alpha Die to spell out "Thank You". I distressed the bottom of the "Thank You" panel with Distress Ink in Peacock Feather and adhered it on top of the color blended background that I created previously with foam tape for dimension. I also added some white dots using a Uniball Signo Broad white gel pen to add interest on the letters.

I swapped out the "O" in "You" with one of the foxes from the Friends for all Seasons: Winter stamp set. I stamped him with Wplus9 PURECOLOR Dye Ink in Black and colored him along with the cute little top hat included in the set with Copic markers. I also added the heart image from the same set.

Finally, I white heat embossed the sentiment "everyone deserves a Friend like you" on a piece of black card stock and adhered it with foam tape. For the finishing touch, I added some Pretty Pink Posh Sparkling Clear sequins.

I hope you enjoyed! Until next time, thank you for stopping by!
