Hiya, friends! Janette Kausen here and I am ecstatic to be guest designing for you during the ever impressive WPlus9 release week! So many amazing stamps and projects. I have just been drooling all week! Is your plastic sizzling like mine?!?!
Today, I am sharing a card and video tutorial featuring the Christmas Rose Bouquet stamps and dies. This super sparkly card was created with none other than good ol’ Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers and the Nuvo Clear Glitter Gloss Marker.
To create depth and dimension I applied the Zig color first in Wine Red and then in the darker shaded areas, Deep Red. The orange-ish touch was added to the secondary flowers in Scarlet Red. The leaves were colored with Mid Green and Olive Green. Each color was applied in the area I wanted to appear most recessed, and then blended out with the Nuvo Glitter Gloss marker. The sparkle is phenomenal! You can see this pretty lady shine from across the room… reminiscent of Julia Roberts in Pretty Woman, lol!
Die cut the Christmas Rose Bouquet and pop with dimensional adhesive above black and white polka dot and striped paper for an eye-catching creation. Final touches on this A2 card were added with a sentiment from The Crew: Garden Club new release stamp set and topped off with Nuvo Crystal Drops in Ivory Seashell.
The video tutorial is packed with more detailed instructions and is loaded with tips! Head on over to take a peek! Be sure to subscribe for more from the gang and guest designers at WPlus9.
Thanks so much for visiting today. So much gratitude to Dawn, Jana and WPlus9 for allowing me to be a part of release week! I hope you all have a long and luscious weekend!
xo, Janette
