Hey guys! Today I've got a super easy way to create "no-fail" backgrounds for those bold sentiments that are so trendy.
This techniques embraces the hard edges and irregularities of watercolor. No need for perfect blends or smooth transitions. The key to this look is to dry each layer of color in between. In the video below I share how to get this look as well as a couple of example of the same technique as a full background.

This is a great way to showcase all of those large sentiment stamps and dies in your stash without much fuss or supplies. A brush, a little water and distress ink are really all you need.
There are lots of different ways that you could incorporate this technique. I'd love to see what you come up with. Feel free to link to your projects in the comments below if you try it!
Thanks for stopping by today!
