I am really enjoying having smaller, more manageable releases lately. It gives me more time to spend with each set. And I could play with the new Little Dreamers set forever!

Aren't they just the most charming images ever?
I decided to make the most out of my supplies while I had them out and created 3 cards using the same basic supplies. I walk you through the key parts of these cards and share some tips along the way in the video below.
In the first card I created a background pattern/scene. Instead of covering the entire background though, I chose to switch it up and only cover about 2/3 of it. I stamped several of the images included in the set using Simon Says Stamp Intense Black Ink and did some very simple Copic coloring.
For the next 2 cards I used the same layout and switched up the scenes. The previous card was basically one layer and required a little masking. This time I chose to use the Little Dreamers Companion Die, so there was no need for masking.

I used the same simple coloring techniques and added a sprinkling of star stamping to the background using the Stardust stamp set. That little bear propped up on his elbows just melts my heart. He is so cute!

The final card is a variation of the last, but just as cute, don't you think? This time I used one of the sentiments from Stardust to create an all occasion encouragemet/pick-me-up card. Sometimes I get tired of "hello" or "thinking of you", so these little inspirational messages are a great alternative for "just because" cards.

On the surface, this set may appear to be for babies or children. But by using the black card bases and keeping the design and coloring crisp and clean, I really think they can definitely span all ages.

Thanks for stopping in, I hope you've enjoyed today's video!
