Fanciful Feathers with Jean Martin

Are you ready for some more amazing inspiration from the design team? Today, Jean Martin is sharing a few gorgeous projects featuring Fanciful Feathers.

I was especially looking forward to seeing Jean's projects with this set as she personally requested a feather set a few months ago. To be honest, I was a little nervous, hoping that I could deliver with something a little different but something that she would still really love.

You may want to grab a beverage and sit back, because you are seriously in for a treat!

Jean has created this gorgeous stationery set. Each design is slightly different, but all still use the same imagery and colors. Notice how sometimes she's stamped the solid feather image, sometimes the outlined feather image, and then other times she's paired them together!

With the gorgeous patterns that she has created, you really don't need to fuss with much more. A simple sentiment, also included in Fanciful Feathers, stamped in black is a wonderful finishing touch.

And you can't forget the presentation! A little bit of twine and a feather die cut from Kraft card stock wrap up the set. And to accompany the stationery, a matching gift bag with a few more feathers. Beautiful and elegant.

Now, I had no doubt that Jean would pull out some gorgeous, soft and feminine examples with this set...but she's been knocking it out of the park with her clean and simple designs lately too!

Talk about unexpected! This one may be my favorite. The color-blocking, the gold embossing, the stronger colors and then that punch of soft blue. The hard angles and clean lines paired with the organic shape of the feather, and then she divides it?! Perfect execution that all adds up to a memorable design!

Are you ready for one more? It really doesn't take make much to create a stunning card as Jean demonstrates here. In true crafter fashion, where everything can be re-used or re-purposed...why not use the negative die cut from the previous card? Use the same basic layout and you've got two for one!

Dockside with Kerrianne Bowen

Kerrianne is back with a couple more release projects to share with us. While yesterday's samples were elegant and classy, today's projects are a little more whimsical and fun. I just love how versatile all of these sets are.

Nautical Notions with Kerrianne Bowen

Hold on to your nautical loving hats, because Kerrianne is delivering some amazing designs today! When I think of nautical design or nautical influence, I immediately think of clean lines, simple colors and class. And today's projects deliver on all three.

I love her use of pattern to offset the simplicity of the banner and anchor in the first card. And the matching envelope liner just takes it to a whole new level.

But wait, this next card is equally amazing. The darker color palette is perfect for the masculine feel of the card. Notice how she's used the life preserver from the Nautical Notions Die to mat her monogram? Genius.

Fanciful Feathers with Kerrianne Bowen

Kerrianne is sneaking in some inspiration for us before she is all tied up with her bundle of joy. I can't wait to meet baby Betty! And pregnancy is agreeing with her, because she is just overflowing with the creativity! I'm LOVING her clean, simple and sophisticated thank you notes.

The subtle chevron background is the perfect choice to compliment her gradient stamped feathers. And the matching envelope liner?! This rivals any high priced stationery at a fraction of the cost!

I used several of the images from Dockside to create a little collage. I thought this would be a cute card for a young boy...or girl if you switched up the colors a bit. I added some accents of rope with one of the border images in Dockside Backgrounds.
