Kindness Two Ways with Dawn

Hello! As I mentioned in my recent video, one of the things I really like about the No One Else stamp set, is it's versatility. The simple font in this set can really take on a whole new look when paired with different images.

Today, I'm sharing the same sentiment two ways. The first card is very bold and bright.

I chose to pair the "Kindness" sentiment with the Lilies from He Is Risen and the greenery from Modern Calla Lilies. Add a bright color palette of raspberry, golden yellow and lime green with a splash of black, and you've got a tropical paradise!

I stamped the lilies, colored them with Copics and die cut them using their companion dies. I added the greenery using our Lime Light Ink stamped directly onto the card base. To fill in the bare spots and to offset the bright coloring, I added a few more Lilies stamped in black to the card base.

Next up, I wanted to go a little softer route. I still used bright colors, but by coloring onto Oatmeal cardstock, they soften up quite a bit.

I die cut the new Floral Border Die from Oatmeal cardstock and then added color to each of the floral elements again, using Copics. I wrapped the border with a little natural twine and tied it in bow.

I wanted to keep the softer, more rustic look of this card, so this time I stamped my sentiment in Warm Wool. I forgot how much I adore this color. It is a wonderful neutral alternative to black or gray. Sometimes you just need a softer touch. You know?
