Make Your Focal Point "Pop" w/Joni

Hello Everyone, Joni here sharing another inspiration for you to try. Dark backgrounds can really transform a design and really make your focal point "pop".

To begin, I stamped the image from the Kind Soul stamp set onto white cardstock, color it with Copic Markers and then die-cut the image using the Kind Soul Die.

Next, I created a darker background to make these gorgeous flower stand out on the card. I distressed the white card base from lightest to the darkest - Distress Ink in Cracked Pistachio, Stormy Sky, and Black Soot. Then, I splattered it with water and gold pigment color from the Gansai Tambi Starry Colors Palette.

For the sentiments, I used the "friend" from Modern Anemones and "you have a kind beautiful soul" from Kind Soul. I adhered the die-cut with foam tape to the card base for dimension. To finish off the card I added some sequins from the Sparkling Clear Confetti Mix from Pretty Pink Posh.

I hope you enjoyed!

Thank you for stopping by :)
