Flock Yeah! NEW Products + a Sale

Hello! I'm excited to start showing you guys what I've been up to!

We've got a lot of brand new product that just hit the stores and a ton to go over. So I'm not gonna dilly dally and I'm gonna get straight to the point.

Wow! I can't even express how much I love all of these. Seriously, if you haven't been to the store yet, there are lots of samples for each product (and don't worry, I'll be sharing them here and many others as well) Let's take a quick look at all of the new goodies available!

And I'm not gonna lie. I did make a b-line for Flock Yeah! when the samples arrived. Today's projects were the very first cards that I made and they really did spin off several more ideas. I love when that happens!

You can watch step-by-step how these came together in the video above, but let's go over the highlights.

I started this one by creating an alcohol ink background on Yupo paper. I did create many, many of them - in several colors. (FYI - do this in a well ventilated room, don't be like me LOL) I've saved them for future projects. But the coral one was perfect for the background of this card. I used the new Fabulous Die to create a die cut word window from a white card panel and then layered that over the background with foam tape.

I stamped and colored all of my images using Copic Markers and then used their Companion Dies to cut them all out. (keep reading for a great deal on companion dies) I heat embossed my sentiments - both from Flock Yeah! - and then mounted them with foam tape as well.

Who doesn't want to be told that they've "still got it"?

For the next card, I switched it up just a bit. And kept the sentiment a little less snarky. But replacing the greeting with the Happy Birthday Die this becomes a great card for all ages.

For the background this time, I used the new Trellis Background 2 Die. This is a fantastic background die that can be use alone or layered with the Trellis Background 1 Die.

If you like Flock Yeah!, be sure to check out it's "sister" set - or "brother" set - Oh My Gostrich!. It's another fun one with some snarky sentiments that make for great masculine cards. I really did have a hard time choosing which set I enjoyed more.
