It's time for another All Eyes On...! And this month, we are focusing on my new obsession, distressing inks. I used Tim Holtz Distress Inks by Ranger, I absolutely LOVE these inks.
For today's project, I wanted to share my new favorite way to color images. I just love combining my Copics with these inks! The results are absolutely gorgeous.
And...I decided to create a little video to share the process with you. Ugh, hearing yourself on video is almost as bad as seeing yourself on video. LOL So please excuse the rambling, and the multiple "so"-s, apparently I was nervous. Sorry the quality is not the best, the camera is supposed to be HD, but maybe I didn't have enough light. Enjoy!
Be sure to visit the rest of the design team to see what they've created using distress inks.

Loved YOUR maiden video voyage - I feel like a was settin' at the craft table RIGHT with you! {Love the dog noise in the background: made me feel RIGHT at home! :o)} Excellent technique, indeed! SUCH a fantastic way to feature an already BREATH TAKING stamp image! You made it look fun, easy and totally ON my list of fun techniques to try - Yee Haw! GREAT JOB!!!
ReplyDeleteFABULOUS!!! Great video too despite your personal thoughts on it :) It gets better as you do more, you'll see :) So based on this and your email I need to go get me a few ink and try for myself!!
ReplyDeleteI love, love, love distress inks and I love tutorial videos so you nailed it!! I love how you distressed your image and accented it with Copics. Honestly, I never thought of even doing that so I need to look through my stamp stash and see if I have an appropriate image and give this a whirl! Without this video/post, I never would have thought to try it so thanks! And if you have the time, I definitely vote for more videos!
