Quilt Prints with Savitri Wilder

Savitri Wilder is back with another signature Clean-And-Simple card to share with us.

Wplus9 Supplies:
Stamps: Quilt Prints, Fresh Baked | Ink: Cranberry Crush Pigment | Cardstock: White

I have enjoyed seeing what the CAS designers have done with Quilt Prints, and this is no exception. By stamping the outlines and only filling the centers with a pattern, this set takes on a great graphic feel. Keeping it simple, Savitri just needed a sentiment and some scoring detail to finish this one off.

For more of Savitri's work, be sure to visit her blog. She will be back with us again tomorrow with the last of her release projects. Thanks for stopping by!

Design Team Inspiration with Savitri Wilder

It's Savitri Wilder's turn to inspire us with her April/May 2013 Release projects. Savitri has a simple, eclectic style that always delivers with a bit of whimsy and fun.

We've seen Blanket Stitched Blooms used without the stitching, now Savitri's demonstrating how unique and fun it is using just the stitching. I love how's she's kept all of the focus on the sweet recipient's name by keeping the background neutral and localizing the colored elements to the tag embellishment. The embossed Folk Art Alphabet is able to draw you in and shine on this simple beauty.

Wplus9 Sponsors the 10 Minute Craft Dash #17

Who said crafting can't be a workout? When you're playing along with the 10 Minute Craft Dash, I guarantee you'll get your heart pumping! At least it does for me...but that either means I'm really in to it, or horribly out of shape. We'll go with the first one.

Wplus9 is sponsoring the madness for Challenge #17 and of course, I had to play along.

This was the quickest and easiest that I've attempted by far. I couldn't believe the time when I finished. The secret to stamping shapes like hearts and circles? Sketch your shape first in pencil and use it as a guide for stamping. I used one of the hearts from our Clear Cuts Stackers: Hearts die.

***Don't forget to erase your guide lines afterwards though...unlike me. Oops!

Wplus9 Supplies:
Stamps: Blanket Stitched Blooms, Paisley Patterns | Ink: Lake House Pigment | Cardstock: Oatmeal, Lake House

Want to give it a try? Head over to Pretty Pink Posh for the details and prize information!

Fresh Baked with Elise Durenberger

Elise is finishing off with a bang today, giving us not one, but two fantastic projects featuring Fresh Baked. First up, a little something that would certainly cheer me up!

One of the things that I really like about this design is how Elise chose to use only the outlines from Quilt Prints, creating a fun graphic background pattern.

Next up is a cute little altered item that I'd love to have myself.

Elise has done a wonderful job showcasing our April/May 2013 Release, hasn't she? I hope you have enjoyed seeing her creations as much as I have. Be sure to head over to her blog to get all of the details on her release projects and don't forget to leave her some love while you're there.

Thank you Elise for sharing your endless creativity with us!

Follow Your Heart with Elise Durenberger

Elise Durenberger is back with a mixed media project to share with us today.

OK...seriously LOVE that quote! It definitely sounds like something my mother would say. The Folk Art Alphabet die paired with the Blanket Stitched Blooms looks awesome with the crepe paper sun rays in the background. Elise is always so incredibly creative, you'll have to head over to her blog to get all of the details on this baby.

You won't be disappointed!

We're back with another mood board! This one is one of my favorites so far. You'll find this color combo in almost every room of my house with another splash of color thrown in. Design Team Inspiration with Elise Durenberger

The Design Team has been taking turns sharing their April/May 2013 release projects with us, and today kicks off Elise Durenberger's rotation. Over the next 3 days she will have plenty to share and inspire us with.

Check out this fun layout. Bright colors, fun patterns and big smiles...perfect combo for a layout capturing and celebrating friendship.

I love how Elise used Paisley Patterns to create three different background patterns on her vertical patterns to ground her picture. This is a wonderful set for creating your own patterned paper. With so many images included in this set, you'd never get bored or run out of patterns to create. The Folk Art Alphabet die is a great size - perfect for using on either cards or layouts like Elise has done here to create her title. And the little banners that she added using the pattern blocks from Country Charm are a great addition.

I hope you've enjoyed Elise's layout as much as I have. Be sure to stop by her blog for more photos and all of the details. And join us again tomorrow to see more from this talented lady!
